Emergency boarding on request

When regular boarding cannot be arranged in time

Does a dog need safe accommodation because of an unexpected situation outside regular handover hours? You can submit an emergency request through a personal account for your own dog or on someone else’s behalf. We personally assess what can still be provided safely and responsibly.

A request is not yet a booking. Emergency boarding is not continuously available. Only come after we have called you back and expressly confirmed the stay.

Quick check

Is this emergency route right for the situation?

Not every last-minute request is emergency boarding. These three points distinguish a regular boarding request from an emergency request.

Ask us to assess the situation when all three apply

  • The need for boarding arose unexpectedly.
  • The dog cannot responsibly wait until the next regular handover time.
  • The necessary handover falls outside regular hours, at the weekend or on a public holiday.

Can it wait?

Then use the regular boarding request

A change of plans or a cancelled dog sitter does not in itself make a request emergency boarding. If the dog can wait until a regular handover time, use the regular route.

Special handover times

The emergency route is intended for a necessary physical handover during one of these periods:

  • Early morning · 06:00–09:00
  • Late afternoon · 15:00–18:00
  • Evening · 18:00–21:00
  • Night · 21:00–06:00
  • Weekend
  • Recognised public holiday

The necessary handover time is decisive—not the time at which you submit the request.

One route, three situations

You can apply for yourself or on someone else’s behalf

The request is always submitted through the applicant’s account. This gives us a verifiable callback number and the information needed for a safe assessment.

For my own dog

State where your dog is, what has happened, when handover is necessary and which care or behavioural information is immediately relevant.

I am helping someone else

A family member, caregiver, informal carer or another person involved can apply through their own account and explain their relationship to the owner.

I am acting professionally

Police, fire services, care providers and other professionals should state their organisation, role, business callback number and the information already known.

From request to decision

One clear route in four steps

No walk-ins and no applications by telephone. The necessary information is first brought together securely in the account.

  1. Log in or create an account

Use the account of the person submitting the request. Enter their full name, address details and callback number.

  2. Describe the dog, the situation and the urgency

State where the dog is, who can hand the dog over, the necessary handover time and relevant health and behavioural information.

  3. We assess what can responsibly be provided

We consider urgency, available capacity, care needs and a safe match with the dogs already staying with us.

  4. You receive a decision by return call

Bring the dog only after we have expressly confirmed admission both by telephone and in the account.

Important clarification

You know exactly what you can and cannot expect

Emergency boarding is an additional service and is not continuously available. Submitting a request does not guarantee placement or a response time.

Keep contacting other safe boarding options until we have expressly confirmed placement.

  • No walk-insDo not come to the dog hotel without a confirmed appointment.
  • Not an emergency veterinary serviceIn the event of illness, injury or danger to life, the dog must first be seen by a veterinarian or emergency clinic.
  • No automatic placementSafety and appropriate care for every dog remain decisive.

Emergency request through your account

Submit the situation once, in full

Enter your full name and address details, telephone number, role, the dog’s location, the necessary handover time and a brief factual description. We will call you back once the request has been assessed.

A submitted request is not yet confirmed boarding.
