Personal, small-scale and transparent

How you get to know us and our dog care

You want to know in advance who will care for your dog, how the day will be tailored and how you can follow what happens. We therefore discuss your dog’s needs personally and provide insight through genuine care photos, a carefully planned first stay and updates in the secure client app.

Personal guidance

Who will look after my dog?

We intentionally work on a small scale. You have one regular point of contact who personally guides your dog during the introduction and trial or settling-in day. Support is available for the daily care, while you retain one familiar contact for questions and arrangements.

2

Personal guidance

Why do you not offer tours?

The accommodation is the dogs’ daily living and sleeping environment, not a reception area. Unfamiliar voices, scents and movement can disrupt their calm and familiar routine. We therefore do not offer indoor tours. You will, however, get a clear view through genuine photos of dogs in our care, personal app updates, the introductory meeting and our follow-up discussion.

Personal guidance

What happens at the first introduction?

We meet you and your dog outside, in front of our dog hotel. There, we calmly get acquainted and discuss your dog’s habits and any important details. When it suits your dog, they will meet a few compatible dogs from the group outside. We then generally begin with a relaxed walk in green surroundings, together with suitable pack mates or individually if that is safer. This allows us to carefully observe your dog’s body language and need for distance, movement and guidance. Your regular point of contact then continues to help your dog settle in. Before a first longer stay of several nights, we schedule a trial/familiarisation day and an introductory overnight stay.

The trial or settling-in day and the first introductory overnight stay both fall under Special, unless a care need known in advance requires Extra Care. We then agree the care level for a future stay.

Personal guidance

How do you tailor the daily routine and care level?

Exercise, pace, stimulation, social contact and rest are tailored to age, condition, character and what your dog shows us that day. The 90-minute walk on our website is a separate dog-walking service, not a compulsory programme for a dog boarding with us.

Three care levels

Support matched to what your dog needs

Every dog receives the same safe and attentive standard of care. The care level only indicates how much individual support is needed.

Basic (standard care) ★★★☆☆

Basic — standard care

  • For a healthy, socially stable dog with no extra care requirements who can safely move off lead within the group.
  • Continuous supervision, ample rest and sleeping areas, carefully managed social play, enrichment, frequent toileting and walking opportunities, feeding as agreed and one daily update are included.

Special (specific care) ★★★★☆

Special — specific care

  • For a dog unable to move safely off lead within the group or with a defined care need.
  • Where required, this includes individual or lead walks, separate housing or activity, medication and wound care, strict feeding or medication schedules, and extra one-to-one support for recovery, a season, senior or puppy care and a trial or settling-in day.

Extra Care & Behavioural Support (Intensive Care) ★★★★★

Extra Care — intensive care and behavioural support

  • For a dog needing help with house training, incontinence, emotional regulation, learning to relax independently or maintaining calm within the group.
  • It includes extra toileting and walking moments, supervision and hygienic care, a tailored individual rest or sleeping area, a personal plan, reward-based guidance and clear boundaries.
  • Results vary by dog.

We discuss the appropriate care level and rate before confirming the booking. If a structurally different level proves necessary during the stay, we contact you as soon as possible; any surcharge applies only under rate arrangements shown and accepted in advance.

Insight during the stay

How can I see how my dog is doing during the stay?

A daily update is included for every care day. At suitable moments, the secure client app may show how your dog is meeting us, moving, resting and interacting. Care, safety and sleep take priority, so the timing and number of photos can vary. We discuss the main observations personally when you collect your dog.

Personal guidance

What happens after the trial or settling-in day?

During the first stay we get to know your dog in our environment. You receive an app update and, at collection, we discuss what we observed. Together we then decide which care, guidance and any additional support are suitable. A request becomes final only after we have reviewed and confirmed it.

Do I need to create an account straight away?

No. You can first read about our approach and email us with your questions. We use the account for the dog profile, requests, arrangements and secure updates only when we decide together to proceed.

Understand the approach before making a request

Take time to read how we work. If our small-scale approach suits you and your dog, we will gladly discuss the first step.
